Worksheet categories and formats Four categories
There are four catgories of worksheets. Each is introduced by its own table of contents
page accessed from the link in the following list. Choose the category of worksheet best suited to the project you're working on or teaching:
Relationship marketing These worksheets will help you apply relationship marketing concepts to your web site. They're based on those in my Relationship Marketing book.
Print publication and design These pre-production worksheets can help you improve your next ad, brochure or newsletter. In addition, the PreFlight Checklist from my One-Minute Designer
helps you double-check your publication before taking it to the printer.
Web planning and design Whether you're creating your first web site or are updating an existing one, the thirteen pre-production worksheets and post-production checklists from my Web Content and Design
can help you, your co-workers and your students set up goals, delegate responsibilities and evaluate your work.
Presentation planning and delivery These worksheets will improve your in-person communications. Most tips are based on personal experience gained during the hundreds of presentations I've delivered.
Formats
Each worksheets is available in three different formats. Here are the pros and cons of the various formats:
- Web page
. Each worksheet is available as a web page you can immediately print. This alternative is best for environments which discourage downloading files.
- .PDF file.
This format saves space because it prints on fewer pages and eliminates awkward page breaks. It's an ideal choice for teachers and corporate trainers because you can photocopy and distribute the
worksheets. Use .PDF files when you, your coworkers or students are going to fill-in the worksheets using pencil or pen.
- .DOC file
. This is the ideal format for business owners, managers and workgroups because--after you download and save each worksheet--you can work directly (i.e., enter text) on it. Since the worksheets are
tables, the space associated with each question automatically expands as you enter text. You can also save the completed worksheets for sharing, sending as e-mail attachments or later reference.
